Kurzfassung englisch:
The transverse flux machine shows a high suitability for direct drive applications. The topology of such a machine requires a 3D finite element analysis to predict the machine parameters. The decomposition of the finite element model in distinct stator and rotor models permits the usage of only one 3D model to analyse the different angular rotor positions. The application of multipoint constraints for the floating magnetic vector potential on the sliding surfaces between stator and rotor model allows for a generalized usage of the superelement analysis of the EMAS solver. These modelling and solving methods reduce the effort of the evaluation of the machine behaviour significantly. They are used to efficiently calculate the electromagnetic torque and the stray field in the rotor shaft in dependence of rotor position and load case.
