Kurzfassung englisch:
Mechanical stress caused by electrical current can reach high values and cause deformation of the materials embedded in the slots of electrical generators. This complex process mainly depends on the materials used inside the slot. If the slot wedge is not tight enough, movements of the embedded materials can lead to damage. The mechanical behaviour in case of short circuit conditions is compared with normal operation conditions and a more favorable material assembly for construction is obtained.
