Kurzfassung englisch:
The dynamical behaviour of switched reluctance machines is mainly
determined by the stator leakage inductance. A comparison of machine
parameters, such as the ratio of self and leakage inductance, for designs
based on two different axial lengths is suitable for a deeper knowledge
about the influence of nonlinear iron saturation effects arising with
higher electrical currents. Thus, nonlinear numerical field calculations
are carried out using a gauged 3D magnetic vector potential formulation.
Afterwards, the nonlinear self and leakage inductances depending on the
rotor angular position are obtained from a magnetic energy approach.
