Kurzfassung englisch:
This paper considers saturation and slotting saliencies tracking in star connected cage induction machines operating at low frequencies. It is shown that the variation of leakage inductance due to either saturation or rotor slotting can be tracked by evaluating the derivative of the three phase currents in response to the application of appropriate voltage test pulses. Discrete Fourier transform (DFT) algorithm is realized to track different harmonic orders in a specific window length during load and speed change operations. Experimental results are given to verify the applicability of the proposed method for sensorless control.
