Kurzfassung englisch:
Wearable sensor systems have become promising
tools in modern health care. Vital signs are recored to monitor
the condition of a subject in a continuous manner. In order to
assess sports performance and optimize training, as much as
possible information on the athlethes condition is helpful. We
present a wearable and disposable sensor that measures heart
rate, oxygen saturation, pH value, skin moisture and temperture.
The sensor is fabricated on a flexible printed circuit board and
the sensor elements are encapsulated in soft and biocompatible
polydimethylsiloxane. Surface mount light emitting diodes and
photo diodes are used for photoplethysmography and are cointegrated
with planar capacitive electrodes for moisture monitoring
and a colorimetric ph sensor, based on a sol-gel routine.
Different trials of sports performance have been recoreded and
the results are compared to each other.
