Over the past five years, the blockchain technology has experienced a major rise and fall comparable to the wave of the Gartner Life Cycle. Above all in the energy sector as a pioneer in the area of application, the reputation is dampened due to the exponential
energy consumption so far and the price losses in various crypto currencies.
In this session, the path towards marketability of blockchain technology and the blockchain (market) landscape from the point of view of international experts from industry and research will be discussed and put up for discussion.
