English abstract:
The paper addresses two questions: i.) Can a building performance simulation environment be conceived in a way so as to support performance-to-design mapping operations? ii.) Can the design corpus around an initial design be generated together with associated performance signatures so as to support explorations in a comprehensive "design-performance space"? Based on instances of related past research, this paper grants such possibilities, albeit with extensive conceptual and technical qualifications.
