English abstract:
Novel applications in domains such as building automation and location-based services are increasingly feasible and may be supported by structured, digital building models. Based on requirements for two representative applications, a query processing framework is introduced that facilities information exchange between client apllication models and a shared, network-based building model stored in a spatial database. A prototypical implementation of the framework is described and its operation demonstrated with a test case.
