Kurzfassung englisch:
By defining Screen Recording (SR), we give detailed information on SR and Screen Casts. We present the Screen Cast (SC) in its different variations and organize it in a taxonomy. In addition, we provide a set of checks when we think SR is should be given preference over alternative methods. Equipped with this knowledge, the work combines theory and practice by presenting SR software.
