English abstract:
The global warming facts and figures have clearly established a link between rise in global mean air temperature and atmospheric CO2 levels. If emissions continue along their present trajectory it is estimated that by the end of this century average global temperatures are likely to have risen by 4-6 °C. Such increases may cause potentially catastrophic consequences.
