English abstract:
The present paper includes a study focused on the thermal performance of an instance of traditional (housing) buildings in Kosovo, known as Kulla. The study included both measurement of indoorenvironmental
(thermal) building performance and parametric simulation to study possible improvement scenarios. Five buildings were selected. Measurements showed that these buildings require no cooling. Annaul required heating energy is around 90 kWh.m-2, which, with proper thermal treatment, could be reduced up to 70%.
