English abstract:
We present a method for calculating the travel time of trains within a railway network. The railway system is modelled by graphs which are represented by matrices. Our approach employs Kronecker algebra to manipulate matrices. By traversing the resulting graph we compute the travel time of the trains within the network. Blocking among trains occurs due to sharing of train sections, connections, and overtaking. Blocking time is incorporated into the calculated travel time.
