English abstract:
Predictive simulation-based building systems control provides a promising potential toward energy efficient building operation, particularly with regard to the existing building stock. Optimized control of the various systems and their coordination is the main focus of such a control approach. The modeling core of predictive control systems requires various input information. Thereby, the weather forecast represents an important input. Specifically, outdoor air temperature and solar radiation significantly influence the buildings' thermal performance. This contribution investigates the accuracy of the forecast data provided by an online weather forecast service for a specific implementation within the framework of an ongoing EU-FP7-Project (Campus 21). Moreover, implications of the inaccuracies of the forecast data for the thermal performance prediction of a test room are analyzed.
