English abstract:
The thesis at hand presents a framework to design complex models and simulations of systems focusing on energy performance. It contributes to the research question, how to design and operate complex on-site energy systems of final energy consumers in the most sustainable way. In order to predict the performance of a system based on simulation and derive recommendations for the design and operation of an energy system, influences of the users, the market and economic boundaries must be integrated into the simulation. Usually the undertaking of assembling, executing and interpreting such a complex, hybrid simulation involves experts from a number of different disciplines, collaborating on the modeling and simulation task. This thesis aims to provide a framework, which guides through this process and demonstrates it by means of two examples in the fields of energy efficient industry and simulation assisted building control. To conclude the limitations and further development potentials of the proposed approach are discussed.
