English abstract:
This paper introduces a space phasor model for the simulation of the steady state and transient behavior of a squirrel cage induction machine with a faulty rotor bar. Space phasor equation of an ideal symmetric induction machine can be calculated out of the instantaneous symmetrical components. This model is based on the fundamental electromagnetic waves only. In case of an asymmetric squirrel cage space phasor equations can be obtained too, when some neglect are considered. The deviation of these machine equations is based on the application of state space theory. The obtained machine model is based on two real value stator and rotor voltage equation each and two mechanical equations. In comparison to a conventional machine model, which is based on the complete stator winding and rotor cage structure, space phasor model leads to a considerable simplification. The fundamental wave related space phasor model is capable to seize the major fault related effects of an induction machine with a faulty rotor bar. Comparison of simulation and measurement results will be given.
