English abstract:
We investigate the statistics of the rms delay spread for a two-path Rayleigh-fading channel with each path having an exponentially decaying delay power profile. We present equations for the statistics of the instantaneous (local) rms delay spread. We point out the difference between the mean rms delay spread and the expected value of the instantaneous rms delay spread.
