English abstract:
The utilization of a domain decomposition algorithm enables an efficient
finite element analysis of electrical machines. The application of shape
functions on the sliding surface between the independent stator and rotor
models allows for the modeling of fully arbitrary rotor positions without
any remeshing even with periodic boundary conditions. In the analysis,
the domain decomposition significantly reduces the calculation time of
successive rotor positions. The proposed modeling and analysis methods
are applied with a synchronous machine and a transverse flux machine.
