English abstract:
In the presented paper a possibility is shown to improve the sensorless INFORM-based position estimation of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors (PMSM). By means of a direct axis (d-) current component the magnetic properties of the machine are influenced. The saturation effects utilised by the INFORM method are amplified yielding the following advantages: On the one hand INFORM capability of symmetric machines can be forced, on the other hand the accuracy of position estimation of machines with sufficient variation of magnetic properties can be significantly improved. The influence of the quadrature axis (q-) current component is also studied, measurements on industrial PMSMs verify the influence both of the d- and q- axis current component.
