English abstract:
A new 8-channel OEIC (Opto-Electronic Integrated-Circuit) for DVD applications and a photo receiver for future DVR applications with enhanced sensitivity in the blue spectral range are presented. The DVD OEIC is fabricated in a 0.8 µm twin-well CMOS technology and achieves a bandwidth of up to 109 MHz. This is aspeed improvement by a factor of 1.6 campared to former published results. The blue spectral enhanced photo receiver was integrated in a 0.6 µm BiCMOS-process, using a finger shaped photodiode as detector.
