English abstract:
A micro-gripper with force-feedback has been developed. Precision force control is very important in the field of the micro technologies since MEMS devices are delicate objects, which require gripping force control to avoid damages. Such functionality has been obtained here by fixing on both arms of the microgripper optical sensors that can give a signal in volts that is proportional to the force exerted in each arm. In this paper we describe the work made to design, produce and characterise the gripper system
