English abstract:
Today the application of specially designed grippers for handling and assembly of micro structures in microtechnology is an important topic and a precondition for the industrialisation of microsystem technology. Respecting the dimensions and different shapes of the three dimensional microparts the handling and assembly process in microsystem technology requires supervision with microscopes, positioning with high precision and application of specially designed tools.
Our intentions are to transfer the manual assembly into an automatic process. To reach this goal specially designed handling tools with sensing capabilities are required. In this paper the design for a mechanical gripper with optical force sensing used for handling and assembly of microcomponents will be presented.
