English abstract:
It is necessary to establish education possibilities and training facilities for new technologies in an international frame. Following this philosophy, a multidisciplinar education and training programme in microsystem technologies (MST) is available. Based on theoretical and practical work, it can be performed in Austria or within multinational projects and co-operations on an international level. Students and pupils, managers and researchers have wide opportunities to be trained and get know-how and experience in micro and ultraprecision technologies, handling and assembly of microparts, microtribology, testing techniques, standardisation and MST-design. In the following paper several education and training projects will be presented. The described programs are based on theoretical and practical work. They have been created for interdisciplinary work and in accordance with the trend of life-long learning.
