English abstract:
The DUOMOTOR consists of one stator and two unilateral beared rotors
which are controlled independently of each other. The utilized rotors are either squirrel-cage induction or permanent magnet synchronous types. Due to the two independent machine parts, the stator current consists of components of both machines. Consequently, the stator MMF distribution will have additional and unusual space harmonics. Therefore, an accurate modelling of the losses of this two-part machine has to take into account both components of the stator current. The paper presents both the models adapted due to this aspect for the squirrel-cage rotor and the permanent magnet rotor based on space phasor calculations.
