Kurzfassung englisch:
An efficient finite element analysis of an electrical switched reluctance machine considering various angular rotor positions is proposed. The finite element model is divided into distinct stator and rotor parts.
The utilization of floating potentials on the sliding surface between
the independent parts allows for the modeling of fully arbitrary rotor
positions without any remeshing even with periodic boundary conditions. 2D and 3D nonlinear numerical field calculations are carried out for the total electromagnetic flux. Subsequently, the position dependent reactances are obtained from a numerical implementation of the nonlinear magnetic energy.
