English abstract:
Roebel bars are typically made of several different composite materials, which are jointed together in a complex production process. Afterwards, they are embedded inside the stator slots of large synchronous machines.
Investigations on the mechanical deformation problem of the electrical
machine have to take account of each assembled anisotropic part. More
often, the separate modeling of the detailed anisotropic structure of
each Roebel bar is avoided for simplicity. Thus, it is absolutely
necessary to describe the complex mechanical behavior of inlaid Roebel
bars with a single combined modulus of elasticity. Such common mechanical properties are investigated with the aid of analytical and numerical methods.
