English abstract:
In the design of electrical machines and transformers, the modelling of the laminated core material is of great importance. Moreover especially in the conceptual phase, a finite element analysis with all details of the slotted geometries might be onerous. Both scopes of duties can be treated by an anisotropic modelling with regard to permeability and conductivity of the used materials. The application of this anisotropic material modelling is shown with some characteristic examples in the field of electrical machines and transformers.
