"Lyapunov based approach to Adaptive Fuzzy Control";
International Journal Automation Austria (IJAA), 12 (2004), 1; S. 17 - 36.

Kurzfassung englisch:
The aim of this paper is to state an approach which can be used to stabilize a closed loop Fuzzy control system by off-line tuning an adaptive fuzzy controller such, that due to applying special control Lyapunov functions a pre-specified Lyapunov derivative of the closed loop system is guaranteed. This hybrid control strategy combines the advantages of a stability criterion for global, asymptotic state stability in the sense of Lyapunov with the from a viewpoint of linguistic interpretability as well as adaptation abilities attractive Fuzzy controls. The fields of applications, which this paper is addressed to, are control of continuous time SISO and MIMO systems, with a main focus on non-linear time invariant plants under control.
