English abstract:
Algorithms for 3D computer vision typically require a calibrated camera.
Calibrating a camera from known calibration patterns is a well known and
solved problem in literature. However there exist few out-of-the-box
solutions if one actually wants to calibrate a camera. Instead one is
often confronted with algorithms or some fragments of code or Matlab
functions which require knowledge about 3D vision on the users side and a
lot of (error-prone) interaction.
Our goal is to provide a tool for single camera calibration easy to use
even for unexperienced users. The software works mostly automatically and
requires little interaction from the user. An intuitive graphical user
interface guides the user through the necessary steps. Intrinsic and
extrinsic camera parameters are provided.
