Kurzfassung englisch:
In this paper we study a rather novel parametrization for state-space systems: data driven local coordinates (DDLC) as introduced in (McKelvey and Helmersson, 1999). We provide some insights into the geometry and topology of the DDLC construction and show a number of results for this parametrization which are also important for actual computations using DDLC.
