"Ab-initio evaluation of domain wallresistivities in permalloy";
Bull. Am. Phys. Soc., 48 (2003), 400.

English abstract:
First attempts of how to describe electric transport properties through domain walls in permalloy are presented. The questions to be addressed are (1) what non-collinearmagnetic configurations characterize magnetic domain walls, (2) how do these configurations determine the domain wall width, (3) how is the residual resistivity changed by a Bloch wall separating domains of opposite directions of the magnetization, and (4) how do such domain walls influence the anisotropicmagnetoresistance (AMR). All illustrations shown refer to calculations in terms of the fully relativistic, spin-polarized Screened Korringa-Kohn-Rostoker method and an evaluation of the Kubo equation on the same computational level, all results refer to NiFe with 85
