"Theory of Invar anomalies in the Laves phase RCo2 (R = Ho, Dy) intermetallic compounds";
Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials, 272-276 (2004), 525 - 526.

English abstract:
The quantitative theory of the anomalous thermal expansion in RCo2 (R=Ho, Dy) compounds exhibiting .rst-order
magnetic phase transitions is generalized by including itinerant spin-.uctuations. It is shown that the Invar anomaly in
these systems is governed exclusively by the magnetic excitations of the localized moments at the R-ion. However, the
thermal excitations of the itinerant moments (Co), which were not taken into account earlier, lead to a renormalization
of the magnetic free energy and allow an even more precise quantitative description of the Invar phenomena.
