Abstract
Fine-grained Bi2212 ceramics were hot plastic deformed at different temperatures Td by simultaneously applying uniaxial pressure and torsion, leading to high texture and a defect structure well suited for improved pinning, indicated by strong increase of critical current density Jc, mean effective activation energy and irreversibility fields.
