Abstract
The intermetallic compound CeNi5 is a Stoner enhanced paramagnet, characterised by the influence of spin fluctuations on its transport properties. Measurements of electrical resistivity as a function of applied magnetic field up to 12 T and pressure up to 15 kbar are presented. A decreasing spin fluctuation contribution to the electrical resistivity of CeNi5 with both increasing magnetic field and pressure is observed.
