Kurzfassung englisch:
With the use of frequency converters as control units for electric motors bearing failures appear more
frequently, because electric current passage through bearings have been increased. To get a better understanding of the
physical mechanisms during electrical current passage investigations have been started. Using an equivalent electrical
circuit the electric current passage through a bearing was simulated and measured. By means of these results a
stationary test rig was designed to investigate also the influence of lubricants on the phenomenon.
