Abstract
Magnetic transitions of the melt-spun Fe70Si20Nb10 and Fe77.9Si12.1Nb10 ribbons were investigated by means of temperature dependence of the initial AC-susceptibility measurements on these ribbons, and additionally, on stoichiometric and off-stoichiometric NbFe2. The coexistence of nanocrystalline BCC Fe-Si and hexagonal Nb(Fe1+ySiy)2 could be evidenced from these measurements and also from Mössbauer experiment.
