Abstract

Hard magnetic properties and microstructure of PLD-made Nd-Fe-B thick film magnets were studied. The films were mainly composed of Nd2Fe14B grains, and the average grain size was approximately 150 nm. In addition, we succeeded to fabricate a milli-size DC brush-less motor with a PLD-made Nd-Fe-B film.
