"Generalized magnetic field setup for dynamical neutron polarization";
Physica B: Condensed Matter, 397 (2007), S. 198 - 200.

Kurzfassung englisch:
In the dynamical neutron polarization (DNP) concept there are mainly two magnetic fields which are used for the energy splitting and
the subsequent LARMOR rotation of the spins, resulting in the alignment of the polarization vector for two partial ensembles with initially
opposite spin directions. We present a new approach to the DNP field setup problem, based upon a semi-classical spin rotation
formalism, which reveals a manifold of possible field time dependencies for the case of pulsed polychromatic beams and includes and
extends the hitherto known solutions. The non-unique relation between the energy splitting and the spin precession field and their
``effective´´ counterparts is discussed.
