Pressure-, Field- and Substitution Studies on Heavy Fermion Superconductor CePt3Si

A substitution of Ce/La has been performed in the heavy fermion superconductor CePt3Si. This substitution causes both the vanishing of magnetic order and superconductivity. Magnetic fields and hydrostatic pressure applied to various samples of this series allows concluding the absence of a low lying crystalline electric field level near the ground state doublet.
