Kurzfassung englisch:
We report on the pressure dependence of novel skutterudites {Sr,Ba}Pt4Ge12 regarding normal and superconducting properties. The pressure dependence of the superconducting transition temperature Tc is weak for both compounds. In case of SrPt4Ge12, Tc(p) follows fairly well the behaviour of the electronic density of states at the Fermi energy calculated for a set of decreasing lattice parameters, thereby mimicking hydrostatic pressure up to 20 kbar.
