English abstract:
Reaction of N-protected 4-piperidones with sulfur and cyanacetamide gave thieno[2,3-c]pyridine derivs. which were cyclized to tetrahydropyrido[4',3':4,5]thieno[2,3-d]pyrimidines. Subsequently, the pyrido moiety of these products was aromatized. The products thus obtained were used to prep. pyrido[4',3':4,5]thieno[2,3-d]pyrimidine-4-amines, e.g. I.
