"Reaction of hydrogenosilanes with dimethyl Pt(II) complexes promoted by hemilabile P,N-chelating ligands";
Journal of Organometallic Chemistry, 686 (2003), 183 - 191.

English abstract:
Reaction of [(κ2-P,N)-Me2N(CH2)3PPh2]PtMe2 [(Pr_N)PtMe2] with HSiR3 (triethylsilane or diphenylmethylsilane) results in the formation of MeSiR3 and the methyl silyl complexes (P_N)Pt(Me)SiR3. In the early stages of the reaction, the hydrido complex (P_N)Pt(Me)H is additionally observed. In the reaction of HSiMePh2, the rearranged complex (P_N)Pt(Ph)SiMe2Ph is also formed. The reactivity of the complexes (P_N)PtMe2 is influenced by the kind of chelating P_N ligand and appears to depend on how easily the amino group is de-coordinated.
