Kurzfassung englisch:
Analysis of chemical reactions as a tool to retrieve valuable information about the behaviour of a system is of growing relevance in several fields such as pharmaceutical, biological, medical and environmental sciences. A better understanding of the phenomena occurring in chemical reactions under different conditions is needed for the full comprehension of their complete mechanism. In this sense, spectroscopic techniques arise as powerful options for real time monitoring of such processes, since they provide structural information on the sample in a non-destructive manner. In addition, the development of new miniaturization techniques handling small volumes of sample, enables now for the analysis of (bio)chemical systems that are only available in small amounts or concentrations.
