Kurzfassung englisch:
Reaction of MeO2CCH:C:CHCO2Me (I) with anthranilates II (R1 = R2 = H; R1 = F, R2 = Cl) in the presence of tert-BuOK gave quinolones III in 54-91% yields. Reaction of I with o-H2NC6H4COMe gave 82% quinoline IV.
