"Method-defined parameters: measurands sometimes forgotten";
TrAC - Trends in Analytical Chemistry, 25 (2006), 5; S. 520 - 527.

Kurzfassung englisch:
The main purpose of this article is to systematize and to describe method-defined parameters (MDPs) as non-conventional anal. results. MDPs depend on the methods that provide them, not on measurement stds. They are of great practical relevance because they are increasingly used in routine labs. There is a need to adapt the metrol. approach in chem. to their peculiar anal. characteristics. In this way, accreditation processes in anal. labs. could be facilitated, taking into account the need for simple, reliable methods to process quickly large nos. of samples each day.
