English abstract:
A new method for the preparation of hybrid materials containing lanthanide oxide particles is presented, in which the particles are formed in a crosslinked inorganic-organic polymer matrix consisting of hydrophobic polysiloxane chains hydrophilic poly(ethylene oxides) (PEOs). NMR, FT-IR and thermal analysis (TGA) showed the success of the crosslinking hydrosilation reactions. Swelling experiments gave further insights in the hydrophilic/hydrophobic nature of the network and its ability to take water. As a proof of principle the polymers were infiltrated with FeCl3 salts that were hydrolyzed to obtain iron oxide containing crosslinked networks.
