Kurzfassung englisch:
This paper presents an overview of the scope of our technical approach within the STEACS project. First we detail a suitable layer model of time triggered communication systems based on the FlexRay protocol. Next, we show how this model can be applied to identify faults in the communication system. To that end, we illustrate some first prototype implementations before we conclude the paper with an outlook to further work.
