More and more hikers and mountaineers go on alpine tours because of the great fascination, the adventure and the possible relaxation that can be enjoyed in the mountains. A precondition for a successful and safe tour in the alpine area is a detailed tour planning. A welldone tour planning increases safety during a tour and makes the tour more enjoyable.

While planning a tour information about the route as well as about possible dangerous and difficult spots is of great interest. Most of the information that can be found about alpine tours is in a textual form. Specific literature as well as information in the internet are mostly text based, normally good photos are missing. However, informative photos can help to improve one's imagination of a tour to a great extent. Photos can be very helpful to make the orientation during a tour as well as the rating of difficult spots much easier.

For this reason this thesis deals with the development of a website for publishing photoassisted documentations of alpine tours. Thereby each documentation should provide enough photos in order to get a good overview of the whole route and to provide an insight into difficult spots. Thus the website assists hikers and mountaineers to get enough photos of upcoming tours in order to perform a detailed tour planning. On the other hand hikers and mountaineers have the possibility to publish photoassisted documentations of alpine tours as alpine authors.

Due to the fact that performing and documenting alpine tours in such an extent costs usually much money and time, the costs should be covered by selling the documentations. Therefore the website provides an appropriate selling system.

The website was opened with the beginning of summer 20061) and provides a guide for tours in the mountains of Eastern Tyrol and a small guide for tours in the Central Pyrenees.

Mountains exist all over the world and hence mountaineers speak many different languages. For this reason the website was developed multilingual and supports the languages English, French and German. Thereby authors have the possibility to publish documentations in several languages and mountaineers have the possibility to obtain documentations in several languages.

This thesis deals with the development of the described website. First a requirements analysis shows the requirements for the website. By means of the requirements the website will be modeled. The focal point of this thesis will be the modelling. All models necessary for the realisation of the website are shown. Based on the modelling the most important parts of a possible implementation are discussed. At last legal issues for running the project are discussed as well.

It will be shown that besides comprehensive technical and linguistic skills as well as experience in mountaineering, basic skills in the domains of accounting and laws concerning the internet are necessary for the development of the project. The realisation of the website will emerge as a multi disciplinary project in the exciting domain of mountaineering.

Immer mehr Wanderer und Bergsteiger werden durch die Faszination der Gebirgswelt sowie deren Erlebnis­ und Erholungswert in das Gebirge gezogen. Voraussetzung zum erfolgreichen und sicheren Durchführen von Touren im Gebirge ist eine sehr genaue Tourenplanung. Diese erhöht die Sicherheit und somit den Erlebniswert.

Von besonderem Interesse bei der Tourenplanung sind genaue Informationen über den Tourenverlauf sowie über mögliche Gefahren­ und Schlüsselstellen. Die meisten Informationen werden in Textform angeboten. Sowohl Fachliteratur als auch Informationen im Internet beschreiben Touren überwiegend in Worten, es fehlt in der Regel gutes Fotomaterial. Doch gerade dieses verbessert die Vorstellung über eine alpine Tour ganz wesentlich. Sowohl die Orientierung vor Ort als auch die Einschätzung von Schlüsselstellen in der Tour werden durch vorher bekanntes Fotomaterial wesentlich erleichtert.

Aus diesem Grund beschäftigt sich die vorliegende Arbeit mit der Entwicklung einer Internetplattform für den Verlag von fotounterstützten Dokumentationen alpiner Touren. Jede Dokumentation soll dabei genügend Fotomaterial enthalten können, um den gesamten Verlauf einer Tour sowie alle Schlüsselstellen auf der Tour sichtbar zu machen. Die Internetplattform unterstützt also Wanderer und Bergsteiger dabei, ausreichend Bildinformation über bevorstehende Touren für eine ausführliche Tourenplanung zu erhalten. Umgekehrt haben Tourengeher auch die Möglichkeit, als Alpinautoren fotounterstützte Dokumentationen alpiner Touren zu publizieren.

Da das Durchführen und Erstellen derartiger Dokumentationen stets mit viel Zeit und Kosten verbunden ist, sollen die Kosten durch Verkauf der Dokumentationen nach Möglichkeit gedeckt werden. Die Internetplattform stellt dafür ein geeignetes Verkaufssystem zur Verfügung.

Die Plattform wurde mit Sommerbeginn 2006 eröffnet1) und stellt als Basisinhalt einen Osttirol Wander­ und Hochtourenführer sowie einen kleinen Zentralpyrenäen Wanderführer zur Verfügung. Da es Berge weltweit gibt und Alpinisten unterschiedlichste Sprachen sprechen, wurde die Internetplattform mehrsprachig ausgeführt, zur Zeit in den Sprachen Deutsch, Englisch und Französisch. So haben Autoren die Möglichkeit, Dokumentationen in mehreren Sprachen zu publizieren und Tourengeher können Dokumentationen in mehreren Sprachen beziehen.

Die vorliegende Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit der Entwicklung dieser Plattform. Zuerst wird eine Anforderungsanalyse erstellt, welche die Anforderungen einer solchen Plattform aufzeigt. Basierend auf diesen Anforderungen wird die Plattform anschließend modelliert. Der Schwerpunkt der vorliegenden Arbeit liegt in der Modellierung. In dieser werden sämtliche Modelle aufgezeigt, die für eine Realisierung einer derartigen Plattform notwendig sind. Aufbauend auf der Modellierung werden die wichtigsten Teile einer möglichen Implementierung genauer besprochen. Auch rechtliche Grundlagen zum Betrieb der Plattform werden abschließend erörtert.

Gezeigt wird, dass für die Umsetzung eines derartigen Verlages neben umfangreichen technischen und sprachlichen Kenntnissen sowie neben Erfahrungen in der Alpinistik auch grundlegende Kenntnisse in den Gebieten der Buchhaltung und im Daten­ und Informatikrecht notwendig sind.

Die Realisierung der Plattform stellt sich diesbezüglich als ein multidisziplinäres Projekt in dem spannenden Gebiet des Bergsports heraus.
