English abstract:
The accurate reconstruction of high-quality representations from range scanning devices for archaeology is very time consuming and costly. The objective of this paper is to show that this accurate reconstruction step can be avoided in many cases. Instead, we present a method to make range scanning data instantly available to archaeologists and other scientists, so that they can immediately experiment and work with the data.
