Kurzfassung englisch:
Problem-specific constitutive modelling consists of the development of material models for the soil and the shotcrete. In this work summaries of the most essential items of the constitutive models for the two materials are presented. The one for shotcrete is characterized by consideration of the increase of material parameters, such as stiffness and strength, with time. The numerical investigation consists of elasto-viscoplastic stress analysis of the excavation of a tunnel junction belonging to the underground line U3 of Vienna. A hybrid boundary element - finite element method, developed at the Institute for Strength of Materials of Technical University of Vienna, is used as the analysis tool. Its potential is demonstrated in the paper.
