Trapezoidal plates with right angles subjected to uniform loading are investigated by means of the method of Muskhelishvili.Goursat's formula provides the basis for the solution of the bipotential equation with the help of the theory of complex functions. The boundary value problem is solved for Navier boundary conditions.
The necessary conformal mapping of the unit circle on the interior of a general trapezium with right angles is obtained applying the formula of Schwarz-Christoffel.
As an example a trapezoidal plate of the shape of q quarter of a regular hexagon is investigated.
